We extend the grace we’ve received by loving our neighbors, caring for them and helping them face life’s challenges. We are committed to doing what it takes to live life together and love each other well.

Receive or Provide Care

  • Prayer is central to our church life, and a crucial way of caring for one another. Your requests are specifically prayed for weekly by our pastors and elected leaders.

  • The Deacons’ Fund is a special mercy ministry of our church which provides an opportunity for you to reach out for assistance, or to give to others with needs.

    The Deacons’ Fund exists to support members of our congregation or community who have temporary financial needs such as rent, groceries, medical bills, counseling, and other challenges.

    All requests are confidentially assessed by our deacons, who will learn your story and how we can best address your needs. Deacons’ Fund assistance is intended for temporary needs until a longer-term solution becomes available.

  • Designed2Connect

    Designed2Connect enables the power of connection through the beauty of generosity. They equip people to conect deeper with God, others, and themselves by providing the resources they need to pursue healing and growth.

    Designed2Connect provides funding to select Christian counselors and counseling centers to subsidize the cost of counseling for those who cannot afford it. Training groups are designed to help others explore how the stories of their lives and family of origin impact the way they connect with others today. Mental health seminars cover a variety of topics such as anxiety, depression, attachment styles, grief, shame, and more.

  • Project Belong

    Project Belong inspires, recruits, and resources churches and families in Virginia to foster and adopt, in order to spread the love of Christ to children in crisis.

    Believing the Church is the hope of the national foster care and adoption crisis, Project Belong equips Northern Virginia’s churches to impact the foster care system with the hope of Christ. They unite churches with organizations, government agencies, and businesses so that no child is waiting for a home in Northern Virginia.

  • Young Life Capernaum

    Young Life is all about introducing students to Christ, and invites young people of all abilities to experience life as God designed it to be lived. Young Life Capernaum Fairfax is a ministry for teens and young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
